1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Quizlo iOS application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple device you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the App
- Distribute, sublicense, or sell the App or any part of it
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use the App in any unlawful manner or for any unlawful purpose
- Use the App to submit answers during exams or assessments where external assistance is prohibited
3. Educational use
Quizlo is designed as an educational tool to help you understand how to solve problems step by step. Solutions generated by Quizlo are provided for learning and guidance purposes only. You are responsible for how you use the information provided.
We do not endorse academic dishonesty. Always adhere to your school's or institution's academic integrity policies.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Quizlo offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions ("Quizlo Pro") that unlock additional features including unlimited daily snaps.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Free tier: Free users may submit up to 3 questions per day. This limit resets at midnight local time.
Cancellation: Manage and cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.
Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. AI-generated content
Solutions provided by Quizlo are generated by AI and may contain errors. Always verify important results independently. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of any solution provided. Quizlo is a study aid — not a replacement for a teacher, tutor, or textbook.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or illegal
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or network
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
- Engage in automated use (scraping, bots, scripted submissions)
- Circumvent usage limits or subscription requirements
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, text, graphics, and all content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated solutions will be accurate or complete.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Third-party services
The App communicates with a server-side backend that forwards requests to AI APIs. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's terms for App Store distribution and payment processing. We are not responsible for third-party services.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany.
13. Apple-specific terms
- These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
- In the event of any failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
14. Changes to terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The effective date at the top reflects when the latest version was published. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
